He received the prestigious Sesqui Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University of Sydney (2004 -2007). He joined the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney as a lecturer in 2007 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2010.
