Amartya Mukhopadhyay, a Professor at IIT Bombay, earned his Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in 2009, followed by post-doctoral research at Brown University. He’s a Young Associate of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and formerly served as the Honorary Secretary of the Mumbai Chapter of the Indian Institute of Metals. His research centers on materials for electrochemical energy storage, particularly alkali metal-ion batteries and engineering ceramics.
