Prof. Raghunathan Rengaswamy currently chairs the Energy Consortium Board. He serves as the Dean of Global Engagement and Marti Subrahmanyam Institute Chair Professor at IIT Madras, where he’s also a core member of the Robert Bosch Center for Data Science and AI. Raghunathan is a co-Founder and Director of three IITM incubated companies, specializing in data analytics, data science training, and hydrogen PEM fuel cell development. Prior to this, he taught in the US and at IIT Bombay. His work focuses on systems engineering, utilizing data science, ML, and AI techniques. He also applies systems principles to energy systems, systems biology, and droplet microfluidics. Raghunathan has served on program advisory committees and received awards for his contributions to engineering and teaching. In 2017, he was elected a fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
